Every girl should own a little black dress in their closet. It's an essential versatile piece to have and will never go out of style. The asymmetrical necklines are hot right now sleek and sexy. From left to right: BCBG, Culture Phit, Michael Kors, Issue and Trina Turk.
These lamps make me want to get into industrial design. Design is in everything we do from the food we eat to the chair we sit on everyday, to the magazines and websites we skim through, to the cars we drive, to the clothes we wear, to the plants on sidewalks and the buildings we often pass through or visit.

I'm lovin' these illustrations / print ads by Mercedes Benz‘ featuring the two opposing sides of the brain. The image campaign was created by Shalmor Avnon Amichay / Y&R Interactive Tel Aviv, Israel. I am definitely a right brain.
Fendi just announced a contest, Fendi Frenzy: The Color Challenge. For a chance to win an exclusive bag from Bergdorf Goodman color designed by you. For the most voted bag on Facebook wins a bag and gets their color design made, how cool is that? I tried mix matching the colors, but there's not a whole lot of colors to choose from in my opinion. I was hoping there would be more vibrant colors available. Contest ends on April 24, go get your color on!
Lately, I've seen a lot of the florals, prints, sequence, lace, macrame, crochets, nautical stripes, and loose silhouette dresses in stores. The trend for Spring 2011 is definitely bringing back old styles of the bohemian to the sophisticated glamour from the 50s-70s, but reborned with a modern flare. Yes, they're bringing it all back for the Spring 2011, the capri pants, bell bottoms and jumpsuits. The vintage 70's with high-waisted bottoms, with loose fitted blouses and sheer maxi dresses.
The style right now may seem like it's all about the bohemian-glamour woman with the dresses, florals, lace and frills, but there is still some of that edgy, punk-biker trend lingering around to this day with the studded jackets, spiked heels, and chain accessories. Burberry has certainly bought the edge in spring wear and I'm lovin it!
How cool are these lights or is it chairs? They sort of remind me of chemistry lookin like molecules. It's an all-in-one multi-functional: lighting, sitting, stacking piece of art that's made from plastic. Designed by Tom Dixon.

Animal prints like the leopard-cheetah print have always been around, just hidden in the midst of the fashion jungle. It's back out again this season. You can turn those spots into a sexy, edgy look like Keri Hilson and Megan Fox(on top) or into a casual, chic-sophisticated look like Rihanna and Nicky Hilton.
High-waist bottoms are in this season and they're versatile for day or night! Transform from a casual look to a polished sophisticated night look. Here's Kourtney Kardashian in a simple white v-neck top over navy blue high-waisted pants paired with a dark navy-black cropped blazer. Keeping it simple, yet stylishly chic! Great high-waist designs from (1) James Jeans; (2) Tibi; (3) Dolce Vita and (4) BDG.
As of Spring 2011, the trend in bottom wear has progressed from skinny jeans to high-waisted shorts, skirts and bottoms. A definite turn back to the '60-'70s. At first, I thought these high-waisted bottoms weren't appealing. They reminded me of Steve Urkel with his pants pulled up high, but after seeing them enough times, I've grown to like them!
This 3-D faux chandelier comes with two pieces of MDF that are cutout to look like a candle chandelier. What a clever, neat idea! It's like ikea you assemble the two pieces together, fasten them with the ties, add your socket set and behold you now have a cool, modern 3-D chandelier without the huge price tag! A great way to dress up any interior. Available in black and white, at U.O. for $39.
Style of a chic, sophisticated-bohemian woman, who's not afraid to make a statement and wear something bold.
I'm currently infatuated with cuffs right now. I really like these ones: (1) Wire Wrapped Agate Cuff by Yochi Jewelry: just love the colors embedded in this stone; (2) Dinosaur Bones Rib Cage Cuff by Noir Jewelry: solid plated in gold, engulfed in hundreds of cubic zirconia stones, a truly stunning piece that will definitely make a luxurious statement; (3) Cuff by John Hardy: so safari-tribal, chic, and versatile to any outfit!; (4) Gold Arty Brass Cuff by YSL: made for an Amazonian queen, in vibrant gold, studded with a coral stone with pops of small, random stones with this beautiful crusted texture- love it!
